About Kenyon Investments

Kenyon Investments is a commercial real estate firm located in Hartford, Connecticut. Kenyon Investments specializes in the acquisition and redevelopment of distressed property in Greater Hartford, CT and Southern Florida. We currently have over ten properties in our portfolio which total over 1.5 million square feet, and aggressively add to our portfolio every year. Our projects are financed through a combination of conventional debt and private equity. To date we have succeeded in securing over 50 Million Dollars of financing.

Many of our properties have gone though, or are about to go through, substantial rehabilitations. Some of our rehabs include:

  • the redevelopment of the Richardson Building in downtown Hartford to a Residence Inn by Marriott with over 47 different room layouts.

  • 18 Temple Street will serve as a multi housing and retail project located in the middle of downtown Hartford.

  • Conversion of a 100,000 sq/ft warehouse into the Connecticut Expo Center, which is the largest show space between Boston and New York. With a market of over 27 million people within an hour and a half drive, it has been a huge success.

We also look closely at stabilized assets where we believe value can be added through management and intensive leasing. Our most recent acquisition was that of 201 Ann Street in downtown Hartford. The building features 34,000 sq/ft of office space as well as the popular French Restaurant Pastis.
