Description:
This former department store located on Main Street will include residences for University of Hartford students, retail and parking. This building is located next to the recently renovated 960 Main building and Capital Community College, formerly known as the G. Fox department store. Demolition is in full swing with the walking link from Main Street to Market Street now visible. Pedestrians will be able to walk easily from Constitution Plaza to the Hartford 21 project (Civic Center) and the city's entertainment district. This project is expected to take two years to complete! With over $45 million in public and private financing.
